The Connecticut Holocaust and Genocide Education Advisory Committee is an autonomous voluntary body operating under its own policies and positions. It provides guidance, including suggested curriculum materials and resources, to the Connecticut Department of Education to assist schools with implementing the Connecticut Holocaust and Genocide Education and Awareness Act (Public Act 18-24 of 2018).
The Advisory Committee offers webinars, workshops and other professional development throughout the year. If you would like to know more, please contact Voices of Hope at herocenter@ctvoicesofhope.org. You can see past webinars, workshops and other online recommendations HERE. We also recommend CT teachers to go to the Holocaust and Genocide Education page at the Connecticut Department of Education.
